Yeah we should make one! Is anyone whose going to be in the MA program working part time while doing the program?

During the interview, the interviewer mentioned that the MT program is similar to a BEd program in terms of schedule where you have classes for a few weeks and then practicum. However the MA program combines practicums and classes on the same days so it is easier to implement concepts you learn in class and easier to follow up with your classmates and professors with any questions/issues you have right away

I will also be accepting the MACSE program and rejecting the MT program, so hopefully that opens up a spot for someone Is anyone picking MT P/J over the MA/CSE program? Still a little bit confused

Hi everyone! I got the email today too that i've been recommended for acceptance. Is this pretty much a guarantee that we are going to be accepted? or are there cases where people don't end up getting an official acceptance? Thanks and congrats to everyone else who got the email

I believe you need to maintain a mid-B average since that is one of the requirements to get into the program. I think they interview around 150-200 people for the MA child study and education, so probably not everyone who applies gets an interview.

Hi! I applied to the MT as well, but for Primary/Junior. My GPA is about a 3.2 I have experience volunteering at an elementary school, at a kindergarden readiness program, I also volunteered abroad for a few weeks with under privileged children, and volunteered at a public library for two children's programs. I also currently work for an after school program at a public school for TDSB. I got an interview for the MA program (child study and education), however MT was put as my first choice for OISE. Have you applied to any other schools?

I got an email for an interview for the MA child study and education program (it was my second choice) for feb 4th. I received the email Jan 19th. MT Masters of teaching was my first choice.. but MT does not hold interviews from what I know. They start sending out acceptance letters around the first week of March.
