I am likely to turn down offers at UMass, WashU, UT Austin, and I have already turned down an offer at Maryland. I hope that helps some people!

Getting accepted to NYU and no other programs in the PGR top 15 has made my decision rather easy! Haven't even gotten the official funding offer from NYU yet, and I am pretty much still willing to accept regardless. Woooo!

Thanks My application hasn't changed yet. The phone call mentioned that I should get official notification around Monday, so perhaps it will change then.

Accepted to NYU today. I'm still shaking! Got rejected from a lot of lower-ranked programs, which just goes to show the amount of randomness in this whole process. Still, I am ecstatic.

I'm wondering if the combined Yale programs will announce a bit later

My email was also very positive, which I found surprising given that it seems like everyone received the same email. I am primarily interested in mind/cognitive science and epistemology. I am considering visiting but I don't want to commit yet because I know lots of grad school visits take place at around the same time.

I would imagine that it is constrained by AOI

Hey everyone! I am an undergraduate at a school that is mid-ranked on the PGR. My AOI are philosophy of mind, epistemology, and philosophy of cognitive science. I applied to 14 schools: NYU, Rutgers, CUNY, Yale (Philosophy and Psychology program), UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, WUSTL (PNP program), Harvard, Toronto, Arizona, Maryland, UMass Amherst, University of British Columbia, and UTexas Austin.
