  1. Anyone else starting to think about their pre-doc internships? The whole application process still seems daunting to me. I came into my PhD program with an applied masters degree and some clinical hours - does anyone know what the process is for getting these hours officially added to the hours I'm accruing in my current program/onto my APPIC application? Should I have my previous graduate program complete any paperwork?
  2. I saw that someone asked on the results page which POI at SUNY Albany offered me admission to the program - if that person sends me a DM I’m happy to share!
  3. I saw a clinical post for UC Denver in the Results section. Congrats! If anyone has heard from this program, can you please dm me your POI? Edit: And for the record, no that was not me who posted in the Results section ?
  4. To the recent Boston University poster - was your interview invite a mass email? Exciting that they have a second interview day! Congrats
  5. School: Syracuse University Type: PhD Date of invite: 1/18 Type of invite: Invited to in-person interview by POI during prelim phone interview Interview date(s): 2/15 (2/14 grad student social/dinner)
  6. To the person who got an interview invite to Colorado State's counseling psych program in the mail, did you also receive a follow up email?
  7. Ah I just got my invite from the DCT to interview weekend! Fingers crossed for you as well
  8. My POI mentioned on the phone that I should "expect to hear about in person interview invites from the DCT by the end of the week", but now I'm worried that only people who got the invites heard back and rejections are coming later... ANXIETY
  9. Did anyone else on here apply to SUNY Albany's counseling psych program?
  10. In the past, UNC's clinical rejections have gone out a few weeks later than their interview invites. However, they will update their webpage when all invites have gone out. If you do not hear anything by January 18th then you will know you did not get in, but the website may update even earlier than that. I am currently a masters student in the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine and volunteer in a clinical psych research lab. I spoke with the PI in my lab and she said in the many years she has worked at UNC she has never seen invites go out before January. Hope that helps - best of luck to everyone!
  11. I didn't either, but I emailed some of my POIs before I applied (so far, one of these POIs has invited me to interview). However, I only did this when it wasn't clearly listed on their website if they were planning to admit students - asking if they were was my way to start the conversation without seeming like I was trying to influence their decision before all applications were in.
