Yeah, I was offered admission last year in lieu of a PhD acceptance.

I was offered this last year. If I remember correctly, you *could* just enter that program. I'd reread the email; I think it should specify whether or not you've been admitted. They do it with quite a few rejected applicants. It's not my place to say, but I've heard some negative things about this program -- mainly, that it's a ploy by the university to get a bunch of money in tuition. That being said, I don't know a TON about the school / program / benefits.

I feel similarly! When I was applying I was like “hmm, should I actually submit this?” but my recommenders has sent in letters already and I bit the bullet. I’m more frustrated that I just don’t know about the other schools yet.

I’ve no idea what this means. I didn’t do document tracking on mine this time. Do you remember if they have transcript upload as well? Or another place at which to I put GPA? And they opened them already this round, or last? Hoping it means they’re close.

Semi-shellacked: email from Stanford at 4pm, subject line “Application Decision.” My stomach drops and I open it, only to be informed that decisions have been made but won’t be posted until tonight at 5:30. Oy. Wish they would have posted it and then emailed.
