Not necessarily, some admissions decisions are still being released (adcoms are currently in session). Others have already sent out offers. So it depends on which school you applied for. Even then, it could be that you are put on an unofficial waitlist.

That's really confusing! I guess that may be the reason why some schools do not inform students over rejections, since they might have to go back to them if their initial offers get rejected. You do have until 15 April to make your decision, correct? So hopefully NYU would have given you an indication by then. All the best!

Which is why I made sure that my transcripts were first sent to me for consolidation before mailing them out. That way, I know if a request has gone unanswered.

Hang on in there! I'm in the same position as you, and still trying to remain positive. Got nothing but rejections so far, and haven't heard from the last few schools.

Well, you could be on the waitlist, or a borderline case, which means that they'll have to sift out all the others first. Hang on in there, and hope for the best!

I have to be thankful that my university in London does not charge for transcripts. The two Singaporean institutions charge for transcripts, so together with postage, I have spent quite a bundle, especially when the transcripts from London took longer than expected to arrive in Singapore. I was paranoid enough about mixed up transcripts to get them sent to me first, but this really took extra time and effort (and eventually money). Wonder if it was worth it...

Just sent two emails to 2 of my final four to ask them about the decisions. Not expecting anything, but if they are rejections, I'd like to know, so that I can start closing the door on the matter.

Got my rejection from Kellogg via the admissions system when I went to check. Never got an email, so I guess it is important to check. My final four still do not have anything posted on their admissions systems though, so I am seriously wondering...

You are not alone here. I've more or less given up. I think my chances are next to nil this late in the game, so I'm focussing on doing my work instead of worrying about admissions. If it is meant to be, it is meant to be...
