  1. I got my first acceptance today and, after the original happiness, I'm more anxious! I know it doesn't matter what else happens, but now I just want everyone to let me know!
  2. Not yet! I've only gotten the official acceptance from the grad school.
  3. Just a question: do adcomms go through applications alphabetically?
  4. Worries: Some people have already gotten their acceptances to Harvard, and I've had radio silence from them and every other place I've applied. Excitement: I got my first acceptance today! It's an MA program, but I was accepted on the day of the priority funding deadline. No matter what else happens, I'm going to grad school!
  5. Thanks, everyone! (I would upvote, but I'm currently out) Here's hoping we all get some good news these next two weeks!
  6. February only just started! I'm rooting for you!
  7. I keep getting emails to apply to the Pratt Institute, lol. Too bad I'm awful at art.
  8. I can chill! I got my first acceptance!
  9. I just got my first acceptance! Villanova!
  10. I reiterate my Michael Scott for February...
  11. This makes me feel better! Here's hoping I get that email! This is my POI there's first year back accepting grad students, so hopefully there's still a chance.
  12. Well, I haven't gotten a rejection yet by February, so I think I can count that as a win!
  13. Whoever got into Brown, congratulations! My thesis advisor went there!
  14. I'm hoping next week will be a big, exciting week. I'm expecting to hear from Columbia, NYU, and maybe Michigan. I'm hoping to hear from Loyola Chicago-- they said they'd get back to me by mid-February.
  15. Me too! Good luck, I hope to maybe see you near the lake next year.
  16. Hopefully I'll get an acceptance soon, in that case. ? Loyola (probably my most realistic PhD option) has had cancelled classes the past couple of days so I'm sure that pushed back the process.
  17. To be fair, you still have ~3 hours until it's 5pm CST, so there might be hope yet.
  18. If we don't get this email today, is it safe to assume rejection?
  19. That makes me feel slightly better! Congrats on Harvard!
  20. Someone on the history forum just got their acceptance to Harvard. Apparently the graduate admissions process isn't "entirely" over yet, but all I've gotten is complete radio silence. This is the first time I've anxiety cried over this admittance process. ? Hopefully I get some good news soon, but I'm feeling so cynical and worried.
  21. Congrats to everyone who got their acceptances! Still radio silence for me, but hopefully next week brings some news (preferably good)!
