It will be better for me as a job application. However, I don't have any connection to them, so it would be better if I place them on 2nd or 3rd choice. If what you said is true, it would be unfair to other applicants, and they had better announce it in their pages. However, let's see what happens next. The professor that gave me an interview at Northwestern has a strong connection with Mitch, so I think I will be doing similar things there. No portfolio visits yet & no interview yet.

I believe they have a separated schedule for different programs, so stay tuned! LS+CS seems to be the first to get interviews, according to last year's record.

I cannot ensure all groups will reach out at the same period; I have heard someone already got an interview. The assistant of Poetic Justice told me last month that they will reach out in this month; however, it is not very certain, and have to comply with its PI's schedule. Sorry for the ambiguity.

I am still wondering... I am applying to educational technology/learning sciences programs. Three days ago my project was featured in Apple Inc's official Wechat account (similar to official Twitter, while in China). I also made several more achievements after deadlines. Should I send some emails to professors I contacted before?
