I just waited forever to log in to mine and finally got through! I got an offer for the SSHRC from u of c, but not sure if that means all other schools will have offers up by now as well? Good luck everyone!!!

Does anyone know if all schools were required to submit their CGS results by today? Ryerson’s status still hasn’t changed on my list...

Agreed...This is brutal. Collective positive thoughts going out to every single candidate!

Jokes aside, I'm happy I made it as far as I did, applying to the top POIs at the top schools in Canada straight out of undergrad and still getting a few interviews. My GREs were pretty crap, none of my refs were even clinical psychologists and I had 0 connections to most of my PIs. Gonna take this time to retake GREs, build up my research, and smash the next cycle next year (or just wait two years depending on my job). I said I'd be upfront about rejections, so if you're feeling down about yours, just know everything happens for a reason and now wasn't your time--but next year/two years might be.  LOVE U CANADA THREADDDD

Sooooo I have officially accepted my offer to the University of Calgary. Still going to creep on this forum though to see what happens with everyone else/cheer you on! Also excited to see what happens with CGS-M for everyone. It has been so nice being a part of such a supportive, kind, and compassionate community! Can't tell you how much I have appreciated it during such stressful times.

Officially accepted my offer to Uvic!! Such a weight off my shoulders and am so excited for what is to come next! Just wanted to thank everyone so much for their support and help throughout this process! I wish everyone all the best

If you’re waitlisted, are you notified?

From what I read from last year's thread, it is possible where you receive tri-agency funding, but not a school acceptance. In this case, some people have mentioned that it might be worth emailing your POI and letting them know that you received the award... have heard of rare cases where people have been given acceptance after the fact. However, if you do receive the award, your application next year will be extremely convincing for acceptance.

Right, but this week isn't over. You shouldn't fret because it's still Friday-- there's still today. I would NOT contact your POI directly when it comes to this; it will not come off well. Always contact the grad coordinator--wait for them to respond. 

I would wait to hear back from them. Programs don’t always notify exactly when they say they will- people go out of town, or can’t decide which students they want to interview, or there’s a snow day, or there’s a delay in processing applications. There’s no benefit to contacting your POI, just try to be patient.

Just received an unofficial acceptance to child clinical at Windsor!

Happy to DM details to anyone who's curious! My POI also said that they would like to do an in-person interview and then all successful candidates are invited to an open house. Kind of nervous considering I've worked in his/her lab for the year, haha don't know what to expect in the interview...

One odd thing that my POI mentioned is that Queen's does not do in person interviews. From what I understand, they do a brief Skype interview, make decisions, invite successful candidates to an open house and from there applicants can decide? I'm kind of unsure how their process goes, but if you got a Skype interview seems you made it into the deep shortlist.

Received my first Skype interview invite - I am beyond thrilled!! Wasn't expecting one this week at all.
