Hi I graduated with B.E in Biotechnology in the year 2017 from India. I have been working in a computational genetics lab since then. I don't have any publications yet. Might be submitting one by the end of this year. I am aiming for Phd in mathematical biology as that field really interests me. I have done courses in Calculus I and II, Linear Algebra and Differential Equation during my undergraduate studies. It would be great if you could suggest me any universities in the USA which offers this program of study. I would welcome suggestions in this regard, since I don't have a major in mathematics how much it is going to affect my application process. Also, do I stand chance at all for getting an admit(an international student plus not a strong background in mathematics). Really appreciate for reading this! Thanks in Advance!!

Hi all.. I am planning to pursue my PhD in the US for fall 2020. I graduated in the year 2017 and have been working as a Research Assistant in a lab. I don't have any publications yet and my PI is stressing me so much on doing my phd here. She is not going to give me LOR for my grad studies in the US. Also she is acting so cranky these days. I was planning to join another lab for an year but then I want to complete the work in this lab which I am doing and give it off for publication. I really don't know what to do. My applications will be badly affected if she doesn't give me an LOR. Please any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Hi, I needed some advice on applying for Post-bac program in Neuroscience. So I am an international student and I have applied for Fall 2019 admissions in Neuroscience. I already got 4 rejects and awaiting any reply from other 4 . But since it's late I have already accepted that as rejects. I was thinking to apply for Post-bac programs at various schools. Could you suggest me places where I can apply and what are the chances for an international student to be accepted for this program? Thanks in Advance!!

Thank you so much. My undergrad gpa will be close to 3.0/4.0 gpa in us scale. I should have applied to more schools but my decision to apply to states was a very sudden one. I applied a week before December 1st and arranging for money and all documents took time and I missed many deadlines like of Emory University, Umich Ann Arbor and Vanderbilt Neuroscience asked for GRE scores as far as I remember. I reached out to few faculties, a few of them replied saying that I can apply to the universities grad program.
