Not awarded. But with only 21 awards in the massive field of Civil Engineering, not feeling too bad for myself. Hopefully the reviews will explain why in a few weeks though!

I can't believe it, I won! I feel so lucky because I know a lot of people were equally or more deserving of the award. 

Did anyone also notice they announced over 2,000 awards instead of the 1500 that we anticipated?

I got the award!!! Wow, was absolutely not expecting to get it, just check out my post history to see how f***** hard of a time I've had adjusting to grad school this year. I know it's like 50% luck, but I'm so freaking relieved to have one fucking thing from this whole year that I did right. 

This is such a difficult position to be in, but don't let a school pressure you to commit before you're ready to make a decision. You have every right to wait! 

I'm *technically* waitlisted at my top school in two programs. My partner has already been guaranteed funding at the same school for a different program, so I know where I'm going to be in the fall, regardless of my admissions status. I just NEED this scholarship though to make it in, or else I'm likely gonna have to reapply next year to both Tulane and the GRFP to get a hold of this elusive funding! I hate all this waiting, and my inability to do anything about it!!!

Is anyone waiting on making a PhD school decision until they hear from NSF?? One school is really putting the pressure on me to tell them my choice but, the tow choices I have are so highly ranked for me it really is coming down to the funding. I feel like I should wait.... anyone with a similar problem?

All awards and honorable mentions are made at the same time, thankfully. 

It sounds like you are on the waitlist and he is waiting for another faculty's student to decline so that a spot can open up for him to take you.... check the developmental psych thread. A student posted there that they were accepted. 

Haven't heard back yet. I interviewed on 2/25 but they had a second interview date on 3/1 so it has only been a few days. 

I just had my last interview on March 1st, but was offered admission to another school about a month ago. With that being said, the March 1st interview said it would be two weeks 'till they send out admissions so, I am waiting on that before I make any decisions. Im sure others are in the same boat. I think it's too soon to email the POI.

I think UCLA health psychology has sent out their invites... Unfortunately .. They send out invites usually 2 weeks before the interview date 

I am still waiting too, I have been scouring grad cafe and have not seen anything! Ugh ?
