Hi everyone! I need a complete distraction while I wait for decisions to roll around! I've heard back from one school so far, but that's it. The waiting game is BRUTAL! Luckily, I have this forum and r/slpgradschool to help me push through... I graduated from college in 2017, so it's been quite some time since I've taken classes. And I miss it! - Where are you from? Boston, MA - Which programs are you applying to? Boston University, Columbia University, Ithaca College, MGH IHP, NYMC, University of Minnesota, University of Pittsburgh, University of Vermont, University of Washington - What are your biggest concerns about applications? Definitely cost! I'm really hoping to get considered for some funding or scholarships. I'm otherwise pretty comfortable with my stats... I try not to get too bogged down from some posts on here! I'm sorry that your professor was not encouraging at all! Remember that the GRE score is one of many parts of your application. Numbers help, but they aren't everything. Someone could be REALLY good at taking standardized tests and then all of a sudden have a crappy bedside manner... that's not type of clinician we'd want! If you were able to 100% show in your personal statement and experiences that you are committed to this field, it will really show. We're in this together! Best of luck
