  1. It is hard to believe! I'm very worried about what will happen to us in the near future, too.
  2. The current situation caused by COVID-19 worries me, too. At the present, I have a funded offer and two waitlist spots (in fact, I've decline a funded offer and a waitlist spot). It's very probable that I will accept my present offer, but I dont't want to make a snap decision before getting any news from another two programs. (I'm sorry but another two programs are also my dream choices). So, should I sit to wait for possible news? Is it better to solicit the two programs and ask whether they plan to freeze admission off the waitlists? I'm concerned that my acts will cause some terrible consequence for me, though I realize that it may be a long shot that I could be admitted off the waitlist.
  3. Most of results on this website are not Philosophy programs, and I have reason to believe that a Philosophy PhD programs gives a lower stipend than any other PhD program. ?
  4. Congrats! I also applied to UNM, but I've not received any info up to now. I guess that the best possible result for me is a position on the waitlist...? BTW, do you know how many funded offers have been given?
  5. You can email their department to inquire about your status. Besides, you can have a hope to be on a (hidden) waitlist
  6. Thank you, I reported my result just now.
  7. I‘m sorry but I don't know where is the survey page... Could you give me a link?:)
  8. Hi guys, I get an offer from U of Kentucky just today!
  9. ANU has an excellent philosophy program, congrats!
  10. Cool! I've been admitted to SUNY Buffalo (with TA)
  11. Cool! In fact, my department has a professor who got his PhD from Fordham and he told me Fordham is a good place to study continental philosophy. I'll message you in the near future if my friend wants to know more details about studying phenomenology in USA, thanks!
  12. My friend is interested in phenomenology, especially Husserl and Heidegger.
  13. Of course, my friend became a Master student last year and she is always interested in phenomenology.
  14. Thanks Nesta 415, although I suspect NYU is extremely difficult to get into
