  1. Hi Folks, I applied at Queens and Western. I am an international student and have not heard any news. Have you both heard anything?
  2. Thanks for the comments and suggestions - I think I will do that on the funding piece. One more month to wait is a long time to hear back from a waitlist with a small chance of getting in...
  3. Thanks so much for your response and it does help! I am going to ask Penn State if they have flexibility in their program.
  4. Hi Group Members, I am am hoping for some advise from this group (also asked a similar question in the PHD forum). I was accepted into a DrPH program with tuition assistance. I am currently waitlisted for a PHD program that is my top choice. What types of questions do folks consider when making their decision between two types of programs? Are others in this predicament? Looking for help! Thank you!
  5. Hi group members - I hope some folks can help with this question. I was accepted into a DrPH program (the only one I applied to) at Penn state and was waitlisted for a PhD at JHU. Penn State would offer tuition and a stipend. Does anyone think that a DrPH is worth it? I work full time and could continue if I pursue a DrPH. Please help!!
  6. Hi there, I am in a similar boat with jhu. I am waitlisted for the health economics and policy track. I do not know how many students they admit per year, but I assume it is around 5 like most of the programs. I am hoping that the waitlist is also not more than 5 people. I will cross my fingers for you too!
  7. I haven't but I called their admissions office last week. They said that due to Mardi Gras we might not hear for the next two weeks.
  8. Same! I haven't heard anything from their policy program either.
  9. Yeah, totally agree with you. I feel like I should not hold my breath. I did call JHU and asked if there was anything else I needed to submit, they said no and they hoped they can give me an answer before the 24th. I was rejected from Brown and UCLA I applied to but have not heard from GWU, NYU, and Tulane I saw some people were accepted by GWU, so I assume that I did not get into that program.
  10. I got an official e-mail on Feb 11. The e-mail said that we should hear something by April 24th. I am not sure if it the same for your track.
  11. Hi There, I was also waitlisted at JHU for health economics and policy. Good luck!
  12. Hello, Thanks for posting! I applied and got waitlisted at Hopkins (health economics and policy track). Does anyone know about Hopkins waitlist statistics for PhD programs? I was unable to find anything.
