Did anyone else rejected from NYU get an email about applying to the “Experimental Humanities” Master’s program? I got an email this morning and I’m a little confused by what it is, or if it is spam type email. Thanks!

That'll probably help! Maybe mention it, like "I'm really excited about your program and enjoyed (thing) at (event)"

I’d probably say that while you’re excited about their program and appreciate the fellowship offer, you won’t have all the funding offers at that time and it would be difficult to make a decision without that information. Something like that. Highlight excitement about the program but need to wait a short time for all the info from other places.

Have a similar issue: emailed BU (per my above predicament) and was basically told I'm still in the game but not given an answer. Am hopeful that it'll at least expedite the review process? Just gonna refresh my email 1 to 15 times per minute.

I am also waiting on Brown and NYU. When would it be appropriate to reach out for a status update? I've already been accepted to a few programs, including one abroad and I need to start the visa process soon if I decide to accept that program, but I want to wait on all my responses before I decide. Or should I just keep waiting on bated breath?
