We're in the same boat. I am working full time, just got married, and approaching a move, too. Sounds like we're wrestling with a lot of the same feelings about this process. I'm just excited to finally know what the future will look like, whatever it may be. Have been lurking the last week or so, decided to join the fun.
I worked really hard and methodically on my application over the last several months. Before I checked here I didn't realize so much activity happened in February. Based on previous years it seems some of my schools could be providing results as early as next week. Now I'm very anxious.
I am working full time, and actually just got married. I will need to move soon, so my future is partially determined by whether and where I get into any of these schools. In a weird way it will be kind of a relief if I don't get in anywhere so that I can just keep plugging along. And because I need to move on a tight deadline, I will need to make a decision before waitlists get processed - so getting waitlisted is effectively a rejection for me.

Hey, welcome! I applied to UMass as a poetry applicant but I've been wondering the same thing. This is all I know: some of the acceptances interviewed with the Writing Center pre-acceptance, some did not. Some folks have received an email about a portal update, some folks have not. Personally, I have received no communication with the school and my status is currently "under review" still. I'm not feeling very optimistic about Amherst at this point. Someone on Draft received a waitlist email yesterday for fiction, so idk? Everything seems pretty staggered, but I'm guessing we'll be hearing back reeeeal soon.

I don’t know if there are other CUNY applicants up in here, but I called Brooklyn College today to deal with a clerical issue (my application was listed as not complete due to some community college courses I took in high school.) The woman at admissions was very kind but she told me that answers might not go out for another SIX WEEKS. thought this would be useful to anyone chomping at the bit to hear back.

Welcome! As far as I know no one has heard from Michener, UVA or Vanderbilt yet. I don't think I've seen anything on VA or BU either, but I haven't been following those ones closely.  If it's anything like previous years, Michener will notify around Valentine's day. 

Just received my first notification--I'm on the wait-list for University of Oregon! There's so much I love about this program. Hoping that this means there is more good news to come. I'm glad my first notification isn't a rejection, because I've been a nervous wreck tbh

Hi folks, Been a long time lurker but wanted to post that yesterday, I received acceptances from both Rutgers-Camden (partial funding-- not financially feasible) and NC State (full funding)! So humbling. I am waiting on my applications at UNC Greensboro (I've been receiving positive emails from them) and Iowa (top choice). 
I am interested in hearing your general impressions about UNCG and NC State. Does either have a stronger reputation/name reputability? Also curious about the racial diversity at each schools -- it's pretty difficult to tell from the students' pages on the school sites. (As a writer of color, I'm a bit wary of all-white-ish programs.)

I'm the proud mom of a trans guy, and your post made me smile more than anything else has in a long time. Thank you!
I did notice, while applying to programs, what choices were offered regarding gender and/or sex, and was disappointed to see that one university still only listed two choices. One out of seven total, so that's progress. Slow, too slow, but it's out there.
