Tell me about it. Well, I will sniff around and see if I can find someone else in the department.

I just sent a second email to a university because their online app says they don't have my references. I know for a fact one of referees sent it over a week ago. The problem is that the contact listed isn't getting back to me to let me know and I have a professor from the school asking where my application is because he is interested!! I wouldn't be so uptight about all of this if international students weren't required to have an offer prior to applying for funding/scholarships for which the deadlines are looming

On a sadder note - I just found a reference to *University A* in a research proposal I submitted for *University B.* It was only one mention in a 2000 word proposal, but it still turns my stomach. I've read on here that it happens quite often. I hope the university overlooks it
