Recently started reading following this thread as I was accepted into Laurier's FT 2 year MSW program last week. Last name starts with B.
Received the acceptance email on April 13th @ 2:11pm but didn't see the email until the next morning! Needless to say my car ride to work that day was filled with happy tears - more like happy sobbing actually. I had thoroughly prepared myself that I may not have gotten in as I decided very last minute to apply and put my application together in a month's time while working FT. 
So to all the folks still waiting for responses or received rejection letters this is what got me through the waiting and unknown: Have love and compassion for yourself and hope for tomorrow, whatever you and tomorrow offers you. I found peace in accepting that whatever would come my way I would offer gratitude right back. We are all doing our best, during a pandemic no less, and I know that you'll have the opportunity to grow and shine in this world whether you're in an MSW program in the coming months or not. ?

For those who accepted their uoft offers. Are both the first 2 lines of the condition of acceptance referring to the transcript? First paragraph says complete record and the second asks for a transcript.. are those 2 different things? I thought the transcript would be a complete record as well. Sorry, I’m just confused. 

I still haven't recieved anything. Honestly, at this point in time I am resigned to assume that I will be receiving a rejection from Laurier. Surprisingly, however, I believe I'm okay with that. Love the positive vibes here ♥️ Just remember you can always try again or maybe pursue another path that may take you closer to what it is you want to do ♥️ Either way hope you continue to make a difference in the lives of others ♥️

Love this. Honestly I was waitlisted last year and didn’t have much to change in my application other than another year of experience in the same job I had for several years? (I was not confident and almost didn’t reapply but I did and I got accepted on Thursday!) The one thing I did differently was really taking time and focus on my personal statement. I think people on this forum are focused in on the experience aspect of the application (which is definitely important but don’t beat yourself over opportunities that you can’t help.) I genuinely believe your statement is where you can really shine so please don’t give up, reapply and make sure your personal essays impress!
best advice I can give:
Research the school and its faculty, find a faculty member who’s focus and research aligns with your own interests and include them in your personal statement; why your interested in learning from them and why their research is important to you.. maybe even how you plan on using their research in your own practice. 
 
please don’t give up. I’m rooting for all of us. It’s worth fighting for

Super super excited, it still doesn’t feel real! I know I have this weird fear that they’re going to email me back and say the acceptance was a mistake lol but that’s just me being silly. Looking very much forward to the fall!

Okay phew! That’s a relief. It still seem so surreal, like it’ll get taken back any second lol. Hopefully soon:) and can’t wait to meet you all this fall! Please private message me if anyone wants to get in touch before the fall  

There isn’t as of yet, I was going to make one by the end of the week once everyone received their letters and hopefully made a decision but feel free to also take the initiative if you want to make it sooner

Hi all, my initials are F.A. My last name was always first on the attendance so maybe that’s why I was one of the first to be notified? Not sure but the decisions are going out now so shouldn’t be long! Goodluck guys! Once this shock goes down, I will write out my experience and everything out for you guys! I should mention that I also have an SSW diploma from college which I believe helped me out a lot.
