Hi all! Did anyone who got in with a fellowship/funding reject their offer? I was hoping more funding would have been reallocated to admitted students as of now, but no word yet...

Looking for some insight on my specific situation, if anyone has any thoughts! I have to make a decision between the MPP at HKS and the MPA at Columbia University. My situation is that I got a partial fellowship at HKS, and a full tuition fellowship at Columbia. As an international student, taking out loans is quite tricky, so I'm leaning towards choosing Columbia.However, HKS is still my first choice, so I'm wondering if anyone has any comments about this scenario. Is HKS really that much better than Columbia, and would sacrificing a full tuition fellowship be worth it? Or... are there any possibilities of getting a scholarship from HKS at this point?

Please let us know what was your final decision, but indeed, I tend to agree that the larger the funding package, the better, especially considering that Princeton is an amazing school. Just wanted to thank you for this message!!! I didn't get much funding from HKS but I'm holding on to this possibility of more scholarships becoming available before we have to accept/decline our offers. If anyone hears back about this, please let us know!

I got into Harvard Kennedy School (MPP) and Columbia SIPA (MPA), but received 60k of funding for SIPA and 25k for Harvard... As an international student, I really can't take any loans, but wondering what you all think. Is HKS that much better than SIPA in terms of experience, or are they similar?

that's amazing! How did you get a full ride without a fellowship, if I may ask? Was it with an external scholarship?

HKS just posted on their Instagram that financial aid awards will be released today as well!!

I'm in the exact same boat! Got good funding for the 2-year degree at SIPA, but no word about financial aid for the dual degree... Let me know how negotiating goes, I may do the same as you

Thanks so much!! No worries, I actually didn't know the cohort was this small... I'm international (as the username says), my GPA is 9.5/10, I have 2 years of work experience in public policy and around 5/6 in nonprofit work Hope this helps somehow!

I don't know about these other programs, but I was also admitted to the dual degree between Sciences Po and SIPA, which is super exciting -- it seems like a great program! However, to my knowledge there is no funding for the dual degree specifically, or is there? If we got funding for SIPA alone, could that be used on the dual degree?

good to see a thread about the Oxford MPP! So I guess we will know next week? And then if we are accepted, that's when we apply for funding? Despite the general scholarships you could apply with your MPP app.

I had a question about class size...Their website says a typical class has 25 students...Does that mean only around 25 people will be accepted into the MIP, or am I totally misreading it? Here is the link: https://fsi.stanford.edu/masters-degree

Do you all know if scholarship/funding decisions will be released at the same time tonight (or Monday, who knows)? I have yet to hear from most of the schools, only heard from 1 out of 5 that I applied so I'm super anxious as well...

I got in earlier this month -- applied for the Master of Environmental Policy PSIA!! Waiting on the results of the Boutmy scholarship... any other scholarships you are aware of?

Hi all! I have been following this forum for a while but it is my first time posting. I wanted to share I got an email yesterday with an interview invite for the CPL Gleistman Fellowship!! I also did my interview for the Belfer Center Fellowship this week. Wondering if being a finalist for these fellowships actually helps with the MPP application -- I know they are separate, but you never know! On another note, has anyone heard back from the Bacon Fellowship?
