You aren't screwed. I don't think that applies to all schools. The schools I've applied to a week before the deadline haven't even started making decisions yet (I know because I asked). Relax- you'll be fine. -
I had to...I just called all my schools to ask about when we'd start hearing back...I know, it is too early but I couldn't help it. :0)

Give people time to answer you. It is New Year's Eve/Day weekend, after all. Plus your tale is a bit confusing at times to follow (how many classes did you take that one semester?) and I'm sure people are trying to work through it. But changing the heading after only a day to something a bit aggressive isn't going to help you get more answers. Good luck.

Have a spouse lose a job right before Christmas...I've found this has worked wonders for my anxiety about waiting for programs to get back to me! And I was so worried, too. I make this a joke because, if I didn't, it would be a long holiday season. Good luck everyone!!

It is doubtful, in my experience, that they are going to email you back. If you really want to know (besides what it posted online), I would call the department directly because then you will know that you'll get an answer right away if a person answers the phone, rather than floating an email off into the ether. Good luck!

If the worst that can happen is that it could end up in the trash or sitting in a pile of paper...why not do it? You aren't going to have to expend much money on it nor time. I think it would be a good idea. -
