  1. It says submitted and completed at the top with all the various portions of the application (GRE, LoR etc.) saying dates when they were complete but then underneath we look forward to working you it says application status: not submitted...I think this was mentioned as normal on either the blog or an email they sent out.
  2. Congrats! No email, just saw that a lot of people had gotten decisions by checking the site but hadn't gotten emails, so though it'd check too but nothing yet unfortunately!
  3. On the main page it has all the stats about my application and when it was completed and then underneath since the beginning We look forward to working with you. Submission status not submitted and a check box - will the admission decision be in that place or am I looking at the wrong area of the page?
  4. Why have they only started doing this right now?!
  5. I didn't even apply to SAIS and this thread is getting me stressed! Good luck everyone!
  6. Thank you, that's good to hear
  7. Cool, thanks! I have to take 12 units for my visa though, so not sure what to do about that, I guess they'd have a solution...Also the MPA course sequencing doesn't mention that no stats option weirdly? I don't suppose you know off the top of your head if they accept online classes, as i'm enrolled in one now with UC Berkeley and anticipate getting a B at least. I'm just not sure of the reputation of online classes over in the US? Will of course contact the school about it once i've got my final grade in a few weeks.
  8. Thanks, you too! Sorry, didn't think you were knocking it at all - was just curious because information seems pretty thin on the ground for MPA/MPP programs and I feel like i'm missing the native general knowledge that I have for schools over here but not for ones in the US. In the end i'm just really going with gut feelings about the programs and theres so many aspects about USC that feel right to my goals and interests but it is interesting to know more about the more factual rankings etc.
  9. Is it? I'm international so maybe this is a known thing in the US but I always thought USC was the more highly regarded school. The rankings i've seen all put USC way above UT-Austin and i've definitely heard USC discussed over here but never UT-Austin. In what way is it more highly regarded...in terms of academic standards? Ease of acceptance? Professors?
  10. Just need to check this - we sign and send back letter accepting scholarship, send back letter from Price school and fill out Camel link? Is there anything else? Also, I haven't met the stats requirement, on the deans merit letter it mentioned something about letting the advisor know something to do with this - any ideas on what that means? Thanks!
  11. Got an email from the school yesterday - application page still says in review.
  12. I can't attend the event in March as I live in London but will see you all there in the Fall!
  13. I haven't seen anyone post any kind of acceptance or rejection for either SIPA (i'm also waiting for them) or WWS... don't worry about it yet. Your likelihood of getting funding is probably greater if you apply for a private school, rather than state schools - with those I don't think they give much priority to US students over international.
  14. I don't think so, the results page from last year showed acceptances up until April. You could always email the school and ask when they think you might be hearing?
  15. And on the ETS website your list of schools being sent score reports have dates of when you requested the reports and dates the schools received the reports? It really sounds like an issue on the schools part if they do and not something they should be holding you accountable for...how long was it between their email letting you know the app was incomplete and you responding to them?
  16. Was your ETS page showing the scores as reported to these schools? Did you send them a screenshot of that?
  17. 25...will be 26 when I start. Graduated at 21, 1 year travelling/study abroad and 4 years of work in a few fields.
  18. We have internet here as of 2011!
  19. Thanks, i'm so excited!! Have you told USC about the fellowship? When did you apply, when you hear is probably related to that - from what I saw of old posts they do seem to do acceptances in batches but it didn't seem to be related to people accepting or declining offers, more when they sent in their app. No not yet - my letter from SPPD hasn't arrived yet but will next week and apparently that's where it gives the date for acceptance. I'll let you know when I get it! Good luck, I think you'll be fine, keep me posted!
  20. That's awesome...well done! Thank's I am so, so happy - can't wait til Fall And congrats on yours at FSU and NYU!
  21. Thanks!! I'm so happy!!!! I got my I-20 and on there it mentions a scholarship of 17k under funds but I haven't had any letter from SPPD about it, just the generic letter from the grad school. Any ideas what that means? I don't want to get my hopes up...
  22. Nope
  23. I'll be there!! Can't wait!!!!
