It seems like this link has nothing to do with admission offers, but it has to do with scholarship, assistantship, etc offers. It says: "Acceptance of an offer of financial support *(such as a graduate scholarship, fellowship, traineeship, or assistantship)"

That'd be awesome! I was looking over past emails of mine with faculty there at UCA and was reminded of how likely it is that we'd @ least get a waitlist from them! So I expect an acceptance for your hubby! P.S.- I had NO IDEA what portent meant! I thought you were trying to be country and type important in a country slang!? lol BUT I did look it up and now I have learned a new word today! THANKS!

So we are in the last week of March and I don't know about you guys, but EVERY school outside of California (notoriously late, usually April decisions) BETTER send out their decisions this week! That means I should get close to 8 decisions THIS WEEK! C'mon Grad Schools! I can take 7 rejections in one week as long as one is an ACCEPTANCE! But to be honest, Wayyyyy back when I decided to apply to 15 schools, me and my wife thought realistically 3 wait lists would be awesome! So one more wait list and we'd be HAPPY! We are hopeful about our 2 wait lists already and one more would be GREAT!

Yea, the only question that had me thinking is the question about the client with ALC who comes in and says " I think I brushed my teeth for the last time". I came back to that one and used my last 20 minutes or so to answer that one.

I was wondering how everyones interview went today!? How was the writing portion? I took the writing portion on wednesday and I had the Skype interview on thursday! I thought the writing portion was very interesting and we were able to show our interpersonal communicational skills off through it. The interview was very laid back and the questions were straight forward and seemed to be questions that would help them gage how well we would do in their program. How was the in-person interview day!? How many showed up for this that attended???

I agree... since so many of the jobs are in schools, not many males know about it. I never had heard of an SLP until 2009 when a high school counselor of mine suggested it when we ran into each other at the grocery store(8 years after H.S.).

Thanks to all of you! In addition to keeping fingers and toes crossed... I think I need hair braided as well! I could use all the good "ju ju", "vibes", "spirit fingers" etc that I can get!

today was a better day! I had a great interview with GVSU and I just got home from work and was wait listed(woohoo my 2nd!) at Eastern New Mexico University!

in 2 months all of us will look back on these days and realize we had to go through the agony to feel the true happiness that will be ours when we get an acceptance! It will make it that much more sweet!

@ Commdissci14 I have not gotten a letter yet, but I think it would have come today so I'm anxious to get home and see the results. I don't get off work for another 2 hours! Where in the U.S. do you live? I would think since California is close to NM that I would have gotten mine before today, but we'll see. IF I get nothing today I am going to email/call tomorrow.

Eu morei em Brasiiiiil por dois anos de 2002-2004 e ai aprendi falar portugues quando estava la. Eu tenho dois irmoas que falam portugues tambem e uma cunhada. Aqui em Los Angeles tem Rodizios e outras restaurantes brasileiros... mas recentemente achei um rodizio de PIZZA!!! Eu e a minha esposa vamos logo logo!
