FretPwner Posted October 21, 2018 Posted October 21, 2018 Hello guys! I have created a webpage where you can display some stats like decision timelines and GRE/GPA distributions. You can check it out here. asdfhouw, woodhouse 1, transrelativity and 3 others 1 5
gillis_55 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 I would love to see what you've created, but I'm getting "no results" despite having everything selected.
TITX Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Just curious, where did you pull the raw data from? scottzthewriter 1
Guest Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Awesome tool! Too bad my major is not showing up... I guess is not as common as other fields...
scottzthewriter Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I second the request of from where you drew your data pool. The acceptance rate (17%) seems high for Creative Writing applicants.
FretPwner Posted February 16, 2019 Author Posted February 16, 2019 @sseire I would love to add your major too! The thing is, I am not familiar with all kinds of majors. I try to group similar-looking subjects (e.g. Biology and Microbiology) and to distinguish different paths in a single major (e.g. Creative Writing - Fiction or Poetry). I am also aware that the same major has different names in different universities. I try to merge such cases but I can only do so much. So, domain experts, please feel free to suggest new majors to add, merge, or separate. @TITX @scottzthewriter Data is always fresh from our favorite cafe but I do some merging/deleting as I stated above.

Maylee Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 @FretPwner this is excellent! I hope you got in your CS program! There's data for me and I'm a nonfiction Creative Writing PhD applicant, sometimes an English PhD with CW concentration. Like you said, it comes down to school naming conventions a bit, but also how people report their decisions. This is a great visual!
areca Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Can you include more European universities? It would be helpful.
