I can't be the only one here who's already started this process, right?! I believe we can help each other here through this stressful process I have my BA in Communication, an MBA in Marketing, and I am in the last semester of my master's in Communication with a concentration in technology and culture. My key research topics for Ph.D. are fan studies, participatory culture, social media, media studies, and gender studies. I'm primarily looking at programs with technology/media/gender emphasis. Anyone else out there interested in those topics? Anywho, here is my list-in-progress: - Upenn - University of Florida - University of Oregon - Syracuse University - University of Massachusetts - Amherst - USC - University of Maine - UC davis - UC San Diego - Rutgers - Cornell - University of illinois at urbana-champaign - Northwestern University Can you also share other programs that you might be applying to as well? Awesome list! We have some in common, like USC, Rutgers, and UPenn. By the way, did you apply for USC during the priority deadline? I was wondering why they had the priority deadline this year. I have called the admission office and they told me that it would not influence my chance if I submit my application in the final deadline. They are not supposed to favor anyone just for applying in the priority deadline. However, I am curious about this priority as it is not about funding issues.
