Has anyone heard back from U Chicago, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Columbia, or JHU?

I heard back from Columbia on Jan 11. Official offer hasn't arrived yet.

Oh and I was also wondering about Cornell... Has anyone heard back from there?

Nope! Was curious to know if anybody listed Tim Jamison as their POI for Organic at MIT? And if anybody has heard from him?

That's awesome man congrats!! Those are all good options and it's cool you have multiple already. Waiting on UCLA (among others) with you, lets hope it works out! Im so stressed

Someone on reddit mentioned that the date for selecting a visitation date has passed for UCLA, which I think means they probably sent out all the offers already. Was really hoping for UCLA too, but it was a reach for me.

Has anyone else got a second interview from Caltech? Don't know what to expect

I didnt get a second interview-- just a call saying that I was admitted today (im organic) and info about visiting weekends and whatnot. So im sure its just a meeting with good news!

Did you manage to get the dates of those visits? I forgot to ask before I hung up...

Ah. If that's true (sounds legit anyways...) that's a bummer. To be fair though, I did just see someone post an acceptance on GradCafe today so maybe it doesn't matter? But I may just be trying to rationalize

Did everyone who applied to MIT for organic hear back already?

I’m not sure if anyone in organic has heard back from MIT yet. I remember asking about timeline and they said they still had interviews at the end of the month, so they wouldn’t release any decisions until after they finished with everyone.

Ah okay thanks! Are they interviewing everyone they might accept or is this just a sampling? Do you have any ideas about that?

I wish they’d just let us know that…

There's also a chance you (or anyone that hasn't heard back) is waitlisted. They don't inform applicants if they are waitlisted or not, so it could really go one of two ways (i.e. there's still a chance for you to get accepted). I'm pretty sure that is why they don't inform of rejections right away
