Just got waitlisted from Queens :( According to their email they have over 60 people on the waitlist right now. Good luck to the rest of you, hoping some of you hear good news today!

Nothing on my end yet either. I heard Lakehead does take people in like mid march- late march. I guess it a waiting game now if anything.

I am still under department review for all the programs I have applied to. I see waterloo is sending out acceptances, so im assuming im down the list somewhere, no rejection yet is good news I guess as I heard of someone being rejected from Loo.

Sure :) 

- I have a BSc. (hons) in psych

- I think my cGPA is roughly 3.6/4, but my 2 year GPA is 3.9/4.0.

- Experience: I was an undergrad RA for 2 years. I have been out of school for a few years and have been working the entire time. I have some experience working with children on the autism spectrum, but I now work as a full-time staff RA in the faculty of medicine and I am also a RA for the local health department doing epi research. 

- I have one forthcoming publication which is relevant to public health - it is now accepted but at the time of application it was under review, although I still mentioned it briefly in my LOI. I have some experience with research conferences and presentations as well, although all at the undergraduate level.

I honestly did not expect an admission because I don’t have a stellar GPA (3.4 ish) or amazing work experience, was very surprised to receive my acceptance email a few hours ago!

Yeah! I am in communication with one of the faculty members and she said they are still selecting people and slowly rolling out acceptances, so I think people should still expect them in March.

Thank you so much! I am very happy. I haven’t decided if I will accept it as I am also waiting on decision from the nursing after degree program. I want to choose after I find out if I am accepted into the nursing one.

Making a career change as my previous degree is not health related at all, but I have discovered a passion for healthcare a couple of years ago.

Thank you so much for the information. I'm applying to M.Sc. route, so I'm super anxious because I see so many people getting acceptances already for MPH. I don't want to reach out to my supervisor and bother them either, so I assume decisions are still coming. I hope you get into the nursing program too though! All the best of luck!!

Hey! I heard back from Queen's yesterday and got accepted :) I think offers should be rolling out soon.

Nope! Still no news and my portal still says "Submitted." I've heard someone from the last cohort said they received the offer on March 18 last year... I am assuming it is just waiting game at this point...

Yeah I actually don’t know anyone who got a rejection. I think they just let in anyone who applied.
 

But that’s good for me, it’s a great program, everyone I know graduating from it got a high paying job with the government within a few months. I am so happy I got in.

I should have applied to MPH instead of M.Sc. I'm still waiting sadly. I'm getting more anxious everyday as I see acceptances. 🥲
