With Monday comes the possibility of acceptance shinning golden as the sun!

You are more of a dork than me. I didn't think this was possible. ;)

First rejection of the week...if I didn't have that 1 in the accepted column I would be freaking out at this point (I am a little bit but that 1 keeps me sane)

Apparently when a program says "we'll let you know within the next couple of weeks" a couple really means several. Or a month.

I'm hopeful for tomorrow.

I feel like I'm even more stressed now that I now I got in somewhere. The waiting is even crazier. COME ON. BIG BUCKS NO WHAMMIES! This coming week will be a great week for mail!

And suddenly I have an ancient game show running through my head. Lol!

I will get accepted, I will get accepted, I will get accepted. *clicks heels three times*

For some reason when I read this I thought: "There's no place like grad school. There's no place like grad school..."

This week has been good :-) Flew out to Washington State for an all expenses paid on-site interview. I'm pretty sure everything went well. I expect to hear in a couple days whether I am accepted into the program. Keeping my fingers crossed for further good luck!

I got waitlisted this week. I don't know if this qualifies it to be a good week or bad week.

This week has 1 more day to make it up to me. Otherwise, I'll be looking forward to Monday to start obsessively watching my email again. Interminable WAIT!!!!

Well, this week is almost ending... assuming that I won't receive any notifications late tonight or during the weekend, I'll say that this week (referring to NEXT week starting 3/26, haha) will be the GOLDEN WEEK!!! :)

My "weeks" seem to always happen on the weekend. Got emailed by a prof. this week from one of the universities I applied to asking me if I was interested in joining his research group.

That, and the fact that April 1 is almost upon us, makes me think that this might be be a very good week for at least 1 or 2 definitive answers!!

Go Golden Week!

Congrats! Superstition aside, I hope you're right. I'd really like to start planning instead of worrying.

fingers crossed... i hope this will be a good week for me as well. although, i don't feel as confident as the rest. :)

i've been accepted to three phd programs, but I'm on the funding wait list at each one. i can't help but to reflect on all of the things that could've/should've done better (over and over and over again) to secure myself funding. it's awful! :(

I said it last week, then I got an email saying I am shortlisted for an interview with the statement 'it is likely we will offer you an admission' So yes! I'm waiting for this interview and THIS will be a good week. I will get accepted!

Last night I had a dream I received an email saying my status had been updated. My alarm clock went off right as I was clicking the status. Maybe I'm psychic and today is the day!

Nothing. Meh. I think I will actually have to wait all the way to April 15! Sigh...
