Hi MNIJ! I started having heart palpitations when I saw that you posted this. Do you think we will receive an email before they post a decision on the portal? I only applied to UGA...I have a Ph.D. in French Lit and have been teaching high school for 8 years, cannot move for a program due to my husband's position. Really hope I hear in the next few days, must give my school an answer as to whether I am returning. Ack! It's nice to be able to vent to people who know what you're going through... I did, however, get an email from the Student Information System that UVA uses for class sign ups etc. telling me to create an account but "Note: Receipt of this email is not an offer of admission" Congratulations on your UVA acceptance! I'm also anxiously awaiting news from UGA. I'm confused by the person who posted they heard by email from UGA...I thought they were doing snail mail notifications only? But at the same time I am so thrilled to see so many qualified, intelligent individuals going into such a wonderful field! I can't wait to be able to call many of you my professional peers. I only applied to one program, University of Oregon. I am pretty limited to just this location due to my husband business. My GPA and LoR are AWESOME but my GRE really isnt very good. Wish me LUCK!
