I forgot to mention that the email noted that they will be refunding the application fees for the applicants to the GDRS so perhaps that's consolation for everyone getting rejected. axiomness and Marcion 2

I hate to be bearer of bad news bijou2017, and one can't be 100% certain until the official letter comes... But at this point, that is what it looks like.

I didn't hear for a while last year and then I got an acceptance for their MA program. Not ideal, but its a possibility. seung and axiomness 2

This is the second time (for me personally) that I've had this happen (the last was CU Boulder's Phil Department for 2014... they never sent refunds, moreover). Gah!

So I'm not holding out. There is nothing for subfield, but I feel like not having received an e-mail until now already says enough? Am I misinterpreting that? Because in my case, it is an objectively great fit. And my partner cannot follow me to where I got in, so this is my big hope...
