Eurocrat Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Congratulations to all the Stanford offer holders!
Monody Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 So, I just declined my admission offer at PennState and hope that one of you who are still waiting out receives a very nice email in the next few days. Good luck. changeisgood 1
gc_user Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I'm also planning to decline Columbia's offer within the next few days, so hopefully someone on the waitlist will get off!
Bibica Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 @oakeshott I'll be there! Luckily a very convenient trip from my current location.
HermioneWannabe Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I feel like this week has been a lot quieter than expected. Any thoughts about who we may hear from over the next two days?

I don't expect Notre Dame this week. HermioneWannabe 1
Monody Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Maybe MIT (and hopefully the theoretical rest of Stanford).

I'd love to hear from Michigan / MIT. Then hopefully Yale / Harvard / Cornell over the next two weeks. Then I'll be done.
oakeshott Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Maybe Cornell? If I remember correctly last year they released their decisions right around this time. But then again, this whole cycle has been a little crazy.

Monody Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) Ive to say even if I still hypothetically would get into Stanford, I would struggle deciding between it and Columbia. Edited February 16, 2017 by Monody

I'd pick Columbia, hands down - but more based on location / proximity to my family. That may not be the best way to decide on programs, but I want to be within a reasonable distance of all the people I care about.
tkid86 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I'm hoping for Yale next week and closure to Georgetown (only saw to admits, I think?) and UMD. Really expecting all my schools next week except for JHU.
waterloo715 Posted February 16, 2017 Author Posted February 16, 2017 Waiting on Michigan, ND, Yale, and Cornell. But still haven't received closure from a few schools either. I'm hoping that mine get wrapped up in the next 2.5 weeks. I am tired of waiting. This process is tortuous. concrema 1

yousowildrach Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I'm still waiting to hear from University of Washington, Northwestern, UPenn, and Stanford. Anyone know anything?

resDQ Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 did the Harvard Gov. poster get it confused with Harvard PEG (can confirm through SO that they are out)?
kwaddy Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Claiming an American University admit . I am stunned right now. tkid86 1

I doubt they would do that without sending out all their acceptances.
