Yes, I spoke to someone at Brooklyn College. He said they are still reviewing applications. He said perhaps they go through all applications a first time, then go through again until all candidates are selected. If you have not heard back yet, it does not mean rejection or acceptance/interview. He told me it was very competitive (something we know).

I just called Brooklyn College and was told they are still reviewing applications. Sadly, I am losing hope. I did call Lehman College and left a message for their graduate director. I would like to know why I was denied. If I decided to apply again, I know what needs work.

LOL, I despise the GRE! Interesting, thanks for that information. Maybe, I won't do volunteer work. I will just stick my nose in GRE books . The good news is I have time to get the score I want/need. I think I may take again sometime in June. By then, I should know something from Brooklyn College.

I never had a class with either of the professors that interviewed me this time around. I think I may contact the department and find out why I was not admitted. If I am not granted admission to Brooklyn College, I will have to just reapply next year. In the meantime, I will try to make my application stronger with better GRE scores and perhaps some volunteer experience.

I was just rejected from Lehman College. I am really not shocked at this point. I do not think I was meant to be there anyway.

I am giving candles. Lol. I am still waiting to find out if I will be school in the fall.

the first question asked was tell me anything about yourself your hobbies your interest. The second question asked was what is the difference between a speech disorder any language disorder and give an example of each. The next question asked was what is language comprehension I was asked as a student what can bring to the program. They asked if I had any questions at the end...have a few on deck that always looks good. Thanks and Good luck

I thought that if the school is giving you some kind of financial assistance then they must inform you by April 15th. If the school is not, then they do not have to abide by the April 15th deadline.

She told me it can take up to 8 weeks. They are still reviewing applications.
