I'm not 100% sure, but I think I submitted that along with all my other paperwork... Regardless, the application page shows that everything was submitted and received, so I'll go by that.
Cool mug by the way.
No, don't lose hope! They didn't flat-out offer to fly me out either. They do that after decissions are made, and they were meeting today for that and after that they'll have to submit them and go through a bureaucratic process and whatnot.
No, no. He just said that they're doing things differently this year, and that they'll invite all acceptees (is that the word?) to get to know the professors, the campus, and the cohort.
I was told in the interview that they actually fly out students who got accepted into the program for a weekend, or something like that. At least that's what I understood. I don't have money to go on my own either!
If anyone has info on CUNY's incoming linguistic cohort size, I'm also interested. I heard from a grad student there that they'll only be taking one or two due to full 5 year funding, but I don't know.
So as part of this waiting obsession, I had a dream last night that one of my POI called me and interviewed me in Spanish, and then I got a letter saying to ignore the previous rejection letter because I had been accepted.
