Hmm, this is definitely about integrity, so maybe you should. Maybe you can just ask in general and don't say your name to avoid any problems, but a person with so much integrity definitely deserves a spot!
What?! They should have notified people in advance, so that applicants didn't lose their time and money. I'm really sorry about that. Hope you hear some good news soon.
I'm sorry you're going through it again. I hope things go well this time for you and that you hear good news soon, so you won't have to worry much longer!
Other majors have specializations and specific topics of interest, but I think that having several subfields plus areas/topics of interest make the wait harder. We don't know how the adcom looks at the applications for each subfield, we don't know if the subfield is getting funding, we don't know the subfield that has received decision and wait lists in the results search. So many things!
What do you all think?
Eeek, I would say go to where you were offered funding, but if you would really like to go to the higher ranking university then you might consider looking into outside funding sources for fellowships or ask the university for assistanships and such.
Yeah, I'll wear jeans and pants twice unless they got dirty with something. Also, if I go to the hospital or the doctor, I change and wash all my clothes once I get home, and I never lay down on my bed with clothes that I've worn outside.
I recommend checking the results page to get an idea of when universities send out their decisions. Just search "anthropology" and then the university name. Good luck!

One of my universities gives out free transcripts, and the other one allows for 5 free ones. I didn't have to pay for additional GRE reports, so that was all. I really couldn't have afforded to pay more than that!
