Does anyone know when we can expect to hear from Gallaudet? I was told on Feb. 19 that they were reviewing applications but I haven't heard anything since.

I emailed WP and still haven't heard back. Last year they took a while to get out notifications unfortunately

I had hope that I might be accepted where I'm waitlisted but I was told today that I'm pretty far down I just want one acceptance but I haven't heard from 8 of 10 schools I applied to and I'm starting to go crazy!

I was waitlisted at a school where I saw people with higher stats get rejected. I guess it's good though that it's not all about the numbers!

Has anyone heard anything else from Nazareth?

Me too I'm always so worried that I'll be so annoying that they'll reject me!

I called one of my top choices today since I had seen people get accepted about two weeks ago and they said my application is still in review. Not sure if this is good or bad but I'm so nervous! I just want to hear something this week.

My post-bacc GPA is good but it's only for 7 classes (I'm in 3 more right now). I'm just worried schools will look at my low undergrad GPA and dismiss me immediately.

I've gotten one rejection and one waitlist so far. I still have 8 schools to hear from but I'm so worried I won't get in to any of them because of my low GPA.

Can anyone tell me more about Loyola Maryland, Longwood, Nazareth, ODU, and/or JMU? Thank you!

I went to undergrad at a bigger university near Radford so I can tell you a little what the area is like. Very student-friendly housing, super easy to find an apartment and usually roommates, too. Housing is also really affordable. More of a small-town feel than a big-city but not awful. The weather is pretty mild and we have all four seasons with fairly humid summers and colder winters with a few big snowfalls each year. Hope this helps!

Still waiting on Nazareth. Apparently they're sending out their second round of acceptances via email next week and then waitlists and rejections will come via mail a week or two later.

Salus has said that their program is almost full but they're still doing interviews for the waitlist.

Your choice of schools is severely limited if you haven't complete any post-bacc work. I would do some if you can. Also studying for the GRE is super important so don't put it off (like I did the first time).

Anyone else apply to Longwood? Last year they sent out letters on the last day of their spring break, which is March 11th this year, and they said the latest they would send out letters is the 15th. I'm so nervous! It doesn't help that I'll be out of town for a week around this time so I won't get to know anything until the 19th!

Does anyone know how long their wait list is or if they give out position information?

I've definitely heard of people doing this. I'm sure the schools it happens to don't love it but they probably expect it. You'll lose your deposit but it's worth it if you get into your dream school or somewhere with better financial aid.

Normally it says their title under their name. Or the program page will have a contact person somewhere on the site. I guess it varies from program to program.

Ooh that's the one class I haven't taken yet and now I'm scared! I've loved all of my professors so far so I would love to go there.

Hey there! This isn't related at all but I saw in your signature that you're taking pre-reqs through Longwood and so am I! Which ones are you in right now? I'm in 3 and have one more to take during the summer depending on if/where I end up going.

I normally check the website to make sure I'm talking to someone high up in admissions. I've gotten a few people before who were just on the administrative side and they didn't know as much (understandably).
