I wondered, and I'm so very sorry, whatever happened. I sincerely hope it passes quickly.
I am actually not Korean, but I lived there for several years, and some things still stick (like the emoticons and small bits of language), though I've been back in America for a few years.^^ (My co-teacher friends would often say I act very Korean, a product, I think, of me just wanting to be IN and a part of whatever country, rather than a tourist or "ugly foreigner." I think I must adapt well. ...for a foreigner.^^) How about you? I noticed you are in Korea, of course, and that you were applying from there, but I didn't want to assume your nationality, whatever else.^^ I miss Korea a lot, although it IS good to be able to finally pursue my career goals.

Yay! ^^ I thought it might be more fun to focus on what I ought to be doing, to while away the days until program decisions will be made, now that we're all mostly just in the waiting phase, so I'm glad it sparked some interest with you! How sad that it got ruined for you! Can I ask how? Maybe you'll be able to love it again, and sad day to anything that pushed it away. I would DEFINITELY recommend. The one perk (among many) of being an English person is that you can always adapt it to your own interests, no matter the period! It's what we do best.^^

So, this is a collection of essays on early modern European culture, focusing on how the body is presented and represented, and what all that entails/implicates. So there are several texts, per essay, referenced. Some of the authors represented are Carla Mazzio, Stephen Greenblatt, Katherine Rowe, Nancy vickers, Katharine Park...(I could go on, but you can probably find all this out via the table of contents.)
I'm still working my way through, this is my "homework" I'm assigning myself for Winter break, but it's a great piece, I would definitely recommend, especially if you're into Body studies and early modern!

Every time I get an email about my program I get so uncontainably excited... then a little voice is my head says "It is going to be a lot of work! Why are you so excited?"

I just want to pick out classes already and do grad school stuff. It's cool that I got the email that says I'm admitted, but I want more now.

I have been accepted to my number 1 program and I'm thrilled. Ready to start my next chapter as a graduate student.

Got into my dream school. So happy right now.

I think...I would do all that I could, if I could attain to the level of Raspberry Mocha. That would be living the dream.

That awkward moment when you're un-rejected from your #1 school. Glad I only applied to 3 schools, the is a lot to handle!

Things are happening... while having a( really great!) phone interview I received a rejection letter from somewhere else. But things are finally moving along and I'm closer to knowing all 10 decisions!
