Definitely not C. You should not change your mind just because of one letter. I'd go with A. what's the harm? I think, B is also a bad idea. Asking someone else might not work as well (profs. usually expect students to ask them for a letter few weeks (even months) prior to deadline). but of course it depends on your relationship with your profs. in any event, A seems to be the best choice.

that's what I thought... just worried because of the email that I got from one school saying that it may take few business day for letters to be forwarded to the grad. program (not school)...otherwise, yeah my profs. are submitting their letters by the deadline. thanks for your input!!

Did you mean for the schools whose deadline is early Jan? I am a bit freaked out right now:) So do you think that my letters will be received by programs after deadline (if my letter recs. provide them 5-7 days before the deadline, for ex.)?

I send my requests on time. There is no problem with my timing so far. I didn't understand what you mean?? Wait..you mean asking profs. if they are willing to write a letter for me? I am not talking about this, though. I've asked them 3 months ago. lol. My brain is just

electronic one. I asked because I got an email from one school saying stg like "we received your letter and it may take few days to forward it to the grad prog."...maybe because it's winter break... thanks btw!

Are letters received by the related program once they are submitted or does it take a couple of days?

That's a great one, very useful. Thanks for this.

Hi, Maybe that's a stupid question but I am really not sure about the answer. Is major GPA different from cumulative GPA(for undergrad)? I've entered my cumulative, not my major GPA. (do I need to calculate it??) thanks. ----sorry, yeah it's obviously different. Shit...I've entered my cumulative GPA for two schools.. How can I calculate my major, though?

What are those reasons? I am just curious.

That's what I thought. I am still not sure though because none of my LoRs are familiar with my teaching abilities...anyway, thanks for your reply!

do you guys think that getting a letter only for my teaching stuff is important? I an a GTA for the last two years, but the professor for whose class I taught is not from my area or I haven't taken any graduate course from him. thanks.

Attending OU. Thank you all for being helpful with your thoughts and advices.

It is really tough call, I can understand. (I am -somewhat- in a similar situation considering the indecision. I was accepted to the MA program at OU and I guess I decided to accept their offer. (and hopefully I will not reverse my decision ) However since I will be 29 this fall I am beginning to worry if it is too late to do a second M.A.(my previous degree is in another discipline, and this worry makes me think on the other choice: going back to my home country, and beginning directly my Ph.D. study at my undergrad school which has a quite high ranking and well-known internationally. anyway... good luck everyone for tomorrow !!

Good luck friend!!
