I'd just wait it out. It definitely looks like they're on schedule to let us all know by March 1st like they promised. Although, if I were on campus I don't know if I'd be able to resist the temptation to burst in there and find out!

Okay: What I don't understand is why they don't just do a mass emailing all at once. Every acceptee gets the same email, every rejectee gets the same email, this is a massive college with a fancy electronic mailing system--just send them out on a timer or something! I will never quite get it. Although if all of this waiting means that they're still making decisions, that's cool. Haha.

You never know how their funding looks this year, though! We'll just have to wait and see. Good luck!

Whoa, how did you find that?! I thought I had looked everywhere. Those charts do make me feel somewhat better; they admitted 18% of applicants last year! Also my stats are a bit better than the average, which makes me feel a little more cheerful whether I'm admitted or not. I suppose they'll finish sending out admits on the 28th? Maybe sooner.

They updated my residency status to "Texas Resident." Still no emails or anything.

Last year there were many more posted admits, so either no one is using GradCafe this time, or they haven't finished sending stuff out. Either way, I hope they do EVERYTHING--admits, rejects, waitlists--very soon. I hate being left hanging.

Mine isn't updated, either. That stinks about them all going out at once; I guess I can assume that I'm not admitted. Pretty big downer since this was my top choice.

Thanks! This is definitely one of my two top choices out of the eleven schools I've applied to. I hope they get all of the notifications out close together.

I wish they'd finish notifying, for sure. I'm in the regular English pool, too. Not much hope now considering that my BA is from such a small college, though. Doesn't look like they're looking for that kind of transcript.

Congrats, Bee! Can I ask: Do you have a BA or an MA, and what kind of school did you come from? My BA is from a really small lib arts college, and that worries me.

Yeah Luckily hardly any of them have even started notifying, so I'm still in the running for 8 or 9 schools. I hope . . . This whole process is so disheartening!
