    I just got an email from UoP. I got accepted!! I'm so happy! Of course, I'm waiting to hear back from other schools but I'm definitely excited for the offer I hope everyone hears back soon with good news as well!!

    They have called those who are accepted in the past so I'm sure people who haven't heard may get a phone call soon. Good luck to you! I hope you get off the wait list. It's such a great program

    Mine says that too! I hope this means they'll send them out soon. I don't think anyone's heard from them yet (so no news isn't necessarily bad news)

    I'm starting the process of looking for apartments to have a price range when making the final decision. Personally, I'm looking closely at Uptown Dallas. I've read that it's relatively safe and is a young professionals area. There's lots to do. Price wise, it's a lot. It looks like it would run anywhere between $800-$1500 for a one bedroom and $1500-$2500 for a two bedroom. There's also some apartments right across from the medical campus that fall into the lower end of that price range. Online, it said students also live in The Village but I haven't looked into that area as much If anyone else has any other input, I would appreciate it!

    I'm applying in field and from what I've heard, they pick people for the 24 month program separately from the 15 month

    I am! My mom talked to them and they said they had sent out all their acceptances in February but then someone else talked to them and they said that they hadn't. So I'm going with the latter and hope they send more out soon!!

    UoP is my first choice so I hope they don't come too close to the April 15 deadline! I did! And thank you. That would be awesome! If I get accepted, I'll definitely PM you Maybe because the program is so new they only want in field applicants? I'm sure they'll accept out of fielders when they have an established program that is fully certified. It's sad that it can't help you now though but you've got some great schools on your list!

    Yes I was! I'm not sure if they let people defer to the Fall semester

    I applied to the med program. I'm out of state too and never really thought of that lol it did make me feel a tiny bit better

    Just got my first rejection to University of Washington. That stung a lot since it was my number 1 choice by a landslide luckily, I have one acceptance on the table and still have yet to hear back from other schools. It's just really disheartening to get rejected from a program that you think is perfect for you

    I talked to UoP yesterday, and the woman said that they won't send out decisions until April! I hope they get them done earlier than that though.

    I applied to UoP and Fresno State. Last year UoP sent out decisions in the latter half of March and Fresno sent them out in April! I hope they get them done earlier this year lol The wait is absolutely killing me! I personally wouldn't be concerned with the lack of experience. If you're coming straight out of undergrad like me, I don't think it truly matters. The only experience I have is working at an early intervention Autism program which isn't much compared to other people. We'll get the experience in grad school anyways
