    Hi! Yes.. all programs are SO competitive. I applied to their distance program but I know they don’t accept many for that. I’m currently living in CA - hoping to relocate to New Orleans area (applied to a lot of LA schools). That’s awesome you completed your other degrees there.. that means you probably have a good chance! Good luck!

    Awesome! I met with the clinical director in July at the ASHA conference and she gave me a few good tips! We can send our resumes, etc. to Dr. Savage via email - she said she isn't sure if it plays into the process (they don't look at them in the actual deliberation), but said that specific director will honor anything via email, if that makes sense.

    I'm still waiting to hear from: chapman, Loma Linda (TM - just applied 3/1), Redlands, SJSU and Midwestern (downers grove)... I contacted Redlands, chapman and Midwestern and said I'm still being reviewed. Didn't receive a decline so they said I could possibly be waitlisted or interviewed... Anyone else in this position? ?

    Also, side note: this is my first time applying, I have only taken 4 CSD prerequisites and have an undergrad in journalism.

    Im preparing to start an SLPA program and start applying for spring. Im going to retake the GRE in a few months and have already marked down the schools I'll be applying to for spring. I have received 3 rejections and still waiting to hear from 5 schools but assume it won't be good news...

    Yes. I have taken a few CSD prerequisites but not all, so thought this program would be a good fit. I have heard its problem-based learning..how do you like it so far? Also, are you able to work during the program? Thanks! Ashley
