    I’ve been waitlisted at two schools so far (one being my top choice) and the waiting is killing me! I have a few schools to hear back from but do you have any advice on how to deal with being waitlisted?! Were you accepted off of the waitlist of the current school you’re attending (or any of your classmates) or accepted outright? Just hoping I still have a chance! Neither school gave me a “ranking”. I believe they are both just general waitlist pools. I see from the poster above you don’t recommend sending anything supplemental, right? Any guidance is much appreciated!

    Hmm.. I'm so curious to see how it plays out! The trend that I'm finding with most schools is: acceptances, then waitlists, then denials... a few days scattered in between (if any). Excited if there is still a chance to be accepted because I didn't hear back from them today!

    Just spoke with someone from U of Montana... they said we should know by end of March, beginning of April... dang! So late! Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop

    Yeah, I hear they send out notifications pretty quickly, but keep your head up bc not all of the notifications have gone out Are you waiting to hear from any other schools?

    Still waiting to hear from: University of Montana, Southeastern Louisiana U, UL-Lafayette & UL-Monroe Interviewed at Biola (in February) and Cal Baptist this past Friday...waiting to hear from both! Waitlisted at LSUHSC...more waiting! Let me know if you know any more info/are in the same boat

    Is there a rhyme or a reason to the waitlist, or is this essentially a “soft no”? Were any of your current classmates accepted off of the waitlist? I’ve been waitlisted at my top choice.. any guidance would be appreciated.. thanks!

    Hey! I from southern New Jersey & when I lived there, visited philly quite a bit/have many friends who have lived in the city! If you’re in the center city area (around UPenn, Magee hospital, etc.) you should be totally fine! I haven’t heard much about the LaSalle area, so I don’t know how helpful this is, haha..but philly in general can be pretty safe depending on where you are.. of course all the general concerns of a city, knowing your neighborhood, etc. Hope this helps!

    Waitlisted at least it’s not a “no”. Anyone have any idea how these waitlisted work? This is definitely my top choice & I’m out of state!

    Hey! I can't tell you much about this specific school, but I'm also interviewing Friday I've had two interviews already with different schools and they were very different. One was super laid back (why I wanted to be a SLP, why interested in their school, etc.) & the other was a lot of behavioral questions (how you handle stress, how do you deal with confrontation, etc). I would prepare for both types & also have some good stories planned! I hope this helps! Maybe I'll see you Friday Good luck!!
