Looks like my school announced OGS awards this morning (waitlisted), so sadly all my eggs are in this terrifying basket.

I would suggest contacting your department or the awards office. They will be able to clarify whether your application was forwarded to the national competition or not. You can also look at some of the information available here

What is your university? I have friends in grad programs across the country and the internal review seems to be pretty standard. Many schools even give those who are nominated/sent to Ottawa a last look at their application to fix any issues noted by internal reviewers. Just my experience YMMV

This sounds like the case, unfortunately. I was not sent out last year and mine still just says 'Submitted'.

Did you get news from any of your schools yet? I have acceptances elsewhere but I am waiting on Waterloo and York to know if I have to consider their offers too.

A friend got her invitation to Brock a few days ago. The open house is the 17th of February.
