Got my rejection from bama today

STILL can not get a response from the University of Mississippi. What is this ? Also- eagerly awaiting (sarcasm) my FSU rejection today.

Just coming in to offer encouragement and positivity as we enter the final stretch! 18 days until decisions are final (counting today!)

Has Alabama contacted anyone ? It is still "sent to department for review" on the webpage Same with Mississippi. Anyone gotten a response? Bueller ? Bueller? Bueller?

My poi told me that I am #1 on waitlist- but the state legislature is cutting funding so they are taking less than they thought. Even if someone rejects, he doesn't know if any waitlist offers will actually be made. It is really upsetting

Hey- saw that some people heard from NIU- how did they contact you? I haven't gotten an e-mail and my application status on my niu is just complete- what does it mean?

In this scenario, I don't think it is a "jerk move" to hold on to the waitlist option- as the 15th approaches, you should hear back, just be sure to let #3 know with a week or 2 to go before the 15th so that your spot can go to someone else. Really hope that it works out for you

I really hope that I hear back- I saw that someone got wait listed, really hoping that the "no response" doesn't denote a rejection.

Do you have to already be admitted to the program to apply?

Breathe- just breathe. You will be alright! And if you need to sleuth- search the "dates/results" board- it can help calm you- you can see if anyone else heard from your school or program this year. Just breathe- you can do this !
