  1. Just got a late invite from one of my schools, which wrote that at the time they started review, they had not received my GRE score—which I sent on 12/1, the application deadline. I had been tossed into the incomplete pile and only recently spotted.

Granted, I now know that ETS sent it out several days later, but now I'm beginning to wonder if this could have been part of the story for 3 other schools whose applications were due on 12/1, to whom I sent GRE scores on the same day. Is it worth reaching out to investigate this possibility?

I got an invite from UAlbany (PI: JF) in December.

Speaking of this Harvard fiasco, shouldn't they be dishing out refunds? Seems pretty sketchy to have people pay the application fee only for PIs to decide they aren't taking students during the app process...

Ironically, they were one of only 2 schools whose fee waiver application rules applied to me...

Wake Forest in North Carolina has a funded masters, William Paterson University in NJ offers funding to some students, but I don't believe all, and College of William and Mary in Virginia does as well. If you search, this question has been asked before. I'm sure there are others but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Villanova as well. FWIW, William & Mary is the most generous, and might be the only one that guarantees full funding + stipend for all.

Congratulations!  Was this mass or direct?  And if you can say, who is your POI?

Looked mass, but then again, doesn't seem to have all gone out on the same day (I saw someone post one a few days ago). Also, my understanding is that admissions doesn't operate on a POI basis. TBH, didn't contact any specific faculty member during the process, other than those with program admin roles.
