That's really odd. You'd think that the domain needing to be renewed wouldn't impact your content. I just launched a WordPress website yesterday and when I uploaded it on the host, the domain dame wasn't even pointing to that host until a few days later when we were ready to launch...

Maryland already sent acceptances as far as I'm aware (according to the results board), the day before we heard about the wait list status. I have no idea why Delaware hasn't notified yet!

Congratulations!! That's so awesome. Any details on how the acceptance came in/what it said? We are waiting on BC (although with little expectations).

Husband was waitlisted at Maryland! Not exactly the result we were hoping for, but still promising as it says he is at "the very top of the wait list for admission that [they] anticipate being able to make in [his] field." Here's hoping that the accepted individual has better offers!

Whoa there, there's nothing wrong with that! *says the graphic designer on the communications team of a non-profit* I'm just kidding, it's a path that you have to enjoy and want to do. It's very different than getting an English PhD. I've tried to get my husband to help me write copy on occasion. The skills are just not quite the same haha.

It's funny because when I was back home visiting family in Vermont and Massachusetts over Christmas, I was asking my husband, "Do you SERIOUSLY want to come back here for school?" as we shuffled through snow/ice/freezing rain/-15 degree temps.

Can you study abroad during a PhD? Because that sounds sweet.
