NYU is tough—don’t they get a ridiculous number of applicants? I wouldn’t be surprised if schools like NYU, Columbia, and Chicago just throw out half their apps without looking at them or on the basis of GRE score or GPA or something.

Thank you SO MUCH for all of this information! It makes me feel a lot better knowing that people do get in off the waitlist--so it isn't impossible that he could still be accepted! Maryland is the only school on our list that would allow us to stay where we live currently, so my landlord and coworkers are all 100% rooting for a Maryland acceptance!

Praying that we are off the waitlist by the time the prospective students day rolls around! But husband was invited so he will likely attend!

I think when I looked back to previous years, the last couple indicated it should be today, but other years were on Saturday or Tuesday. So I think it could be any time within the next five days or so. As much as I would have loved to get an answer today...

Sometimes I think that universities have zero concept of website user experience. There were a number of schools we looked at that had such incomprehensible navigation, disorganized information, and inability to sort through faculty efficiently that we gave up. I find that this seems to especially be an issue with European schools... Haha.

As a graphic designer, that GSU email hurts my brain and I really want to help them out. But also I’m sorry that these schools are tormenting you!

We also applied to mainly New England schools! We're a bit nervous about the tiny size of Brandeis, Tufts, BU, etc. but we have faith! Good luck!
