This is my first time applying (directly out of undergrad). I am planning to apply to painting programs at:
University of Maryland: college park University of Michigan Ohio State University of Illinois: Champaign  University of Indiana: Bloomington  Rutgers Northwestern Cornell  My website: www.hannahduggan.com

I asked BU about it. They said the scholarship may not carry over but they try their best to do it. 

I deferred admission to CalArts last year, my financial aid package did not carry over, I was re-evaluated. But it worked out well as I was offered a bit more in financial assistance. Wish you the best!

I spoke with them. Said they were having a final meeting last week. Sending out rejections first via mail, then waitlist, and final acceptances via call or email to come visit with faculty. No mail as of rn. Prob be late March until good news.

Had my interview with Boston today! I think it went pretty well, but I think I tripped up on my words a couple times. I was extremely nervous, so I could be misremembering things. I hope it went well!

Has anyone heard from U Michigan, U Iowa (film), UW Milwaukee (film)? (Are decisions taking forever this year or is it just me?)

got an interview to MICA (Hoffberger) after a full week and a half of rejections. hang in there everyone!

I haven't posted on here in a while, but I realized earlier today this was probably the night Yale interview decisions would be sent out. I applied last year and got rejected; that weekend was a total bummer, but in the subsequent weeks as I began producing new work I became really excited about the direction it was going in, and over the last year I feel my work was matured and progressed exponentially. I didn't apply this year but very likely will next year, but I wanted to write this post in case anyone here is feeling bummed out from a rejection to let them know that this feeling will pass, and please keep up the hard work. 
P.S., congrats to the users on here who've landed interviews thus far!

I was truly hoping that we could share some insights and tips as to what happens in the interview rounds/what is expected from an applicant etc.

Does anyone have any idea as to what kind of questions to expect or what might be good points for an applicant to raise in an interview?

I'd be truly grateful for any help on the above.

 

@henryfive I just check google analytics and my email constantly even though I know it’s probably too early to hear back from anyone. The most stressful part for me was writing the statement of purpose. It was really hard for me to tell what exactly I should write and how much I should personalize them for each program.
