  1. I know this is more of a Master's program thread, but since I didn't get in to any of these program this year (still hoping to get off the Dal waitlist though) I accepted an offer to attend Communicative Disorders Assistant at St. Lawrence College (Kingston) next year. If anyone else is taking this program at SLC send me a message - we have a facebook group started!
  2. I just received my rejection letter for U of A via the Application Portal. Congrats to everyone who got in this year! Hopefully I’ll see you around campus next year.. fingers crossed!
  3. Last year it looks like someone was added to the waitlist on March 30th, so we may still have a shot! https://www.thegradcafe.com/survey/index.php?q=speech+alberta
  4. @SLPhopeful1 @slphopeful101 Congrats to you both!! Did you receive an email at your personal account or the UofA email account?
  5. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted so far! I was rejected from McMaster (via email March 5), then I was waitlisted at Dalhousie (via email on March 9) and now I'm anxiously waiting to hear back from Alberta..! Since the first round of acceptances went out for UofA last week I've been checking my emails and logging into the portal every half hour!! Last year, I was rejected from all 4 programs I applied to (UofT, Western, McGill, McMaster), so being waitlisted at Dal is a step in the right direction and I'm really proud of myself for that! Good luck to everyone!!
  6. Hi everyone! Sorry for double-posting in an old thread, but I hope you can help me out! I'm considering applying to some SLP master's programs in the US, but I have a BA in Linguistics from a Canadian university. I've noticed that many American programs require you to have graduated with an undergraduate degree in communication disorders, otherwise you must take a full year prerequisite track (which does not necessarily guarantee you will be accepted to their MA program once completed). My question is: Does anyone know of any programs in the US that can be completed in 2 years with my BA in Linguistics? Thanks in advance!
