    I believe our learned friend @Warelin has mentioned that OSU, in the past, has updated its portal, which is applicant-visible, to reflect acceptances before sending out notifications via e-mail or phone or what-have-you. So it could be good news! I'm superstitious, so I'll hold off on the congrats lest I jinx things, but this put a smile on my face!

    I briefly considered asking one of my study-abroad professors in Rome, with whom I was pretty close, for a letter. But then I remembered that three months of advanced notice in Italy is like two minutes of advanced notice everywhere else (except for France). Sooo non grazie! Forse la prossima volta!

    I checked the Duke portal this morning and started to get excited because it took a little longer than usual to load (More data, i.e. a decision, more time to load? my technologically deficient mind thought...) And ....... Nothin'. Slow-WiFi shellacked!

    I'm sorry, @WildeThing Maybe Chicago will send you some good news tomorrow! I believe @Warelin mentioned somewhere that Chicago has, in the past, sent interview e-mails over several days (please correct me if I'm wrong). There's still hope!
