  1. I’m curious to know, too. I just had an interview with an Adult Development and Aging program, and they said their graduates tend to go on to academia due to a lack of available jobs in applied settings. As someone who was hoping to also work in applied settings, I’d be grateful to hear more about what others’ career goals/experiences are in this field. I would have thought there would be plenty of jobs for those wishing to specialize in the older adult population, but perhaps I’m mistaken!
  2. School: University of Akron Track and/or specialization within psychology program: Counseling Psychology Interview type: In-person Date: February 16th (February 15th informal meet-and-greet) Would love to hear from any other interviewees!
  3. I know there's no hard and fast way to accurately gauge this, but I'm interested in hearing people's experiences: I gather that individuals whose applications were due in December or earlier are usually hearing about interviews/results right about now, but what about those whose applications were due in January, even as late as yesterday? One person told me he had his interview and acceptance within a month of the January 15th due date, which seems unbelievably efficient for a graduate admissions process. Emphasis on "unbelievably!" Has anyone else had similar experiences?
  4. I applied to Kent State and indicated an interest in their Health Psychology specialization.
  5. Could the Health Psychology applicant to Kent State University please DM me your POI? Thank you!
