  1. Congrats!! For those of you who were just accepted, when was your application marked “complete”?
  2. No aid here either. Makes the decision easy!
  3. I think you should definitely wait until you hear back from all of the schools. My sense is that many schools are open to reconsidering scholarship amounts, but that you have to present them with something to merit reconsideration -- a new publication, different test scores or a competing offer. I doubt that a school would reconsider aid without a reason like one of those... but that's just my educated guess. I'm guessing from your username that you're interested in urban policy! Want to discuss via messages? I'm in at Chicago and USC, too.
  4. I have not. I did see on the Results page that someone applying for an MUP had already interviewed. Some fellowships overlap between MUP, MPA and the other programs.
  5. Received my scholarship package in the mail today.
  6. Program Applied To: (MPA, MPP, IR, etc.): MPP/MPA Schools Applied To: Princeton WWS, Chicago Harris, NYU Wagner, CMU Heinz, USC Price, Berkeley GSPP Schools Admitted To: Harris ($), Price (?) Schools Rejected From: Still Waiting: All others Undergraduate institution: Top 5 public Undergraduate GPA: 3.6 Last 60 hours of Undergraduate GPA (if applicable): I would guess that it was a bit higher like a 3.7, lots of credit for independent research Undergraduate Major: Political Science & Arabic/Islamic Studies GRE Quantitative Score: 157 GRE Verbal Score: 164 GRE AW Score: 5 Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 5 Years of Work Experience: 5 Describe Relevant Work Experience: Leadership position in a nonprofit organization Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): Quite strong I think. Very specific about academic interests and career objectives in a fairly narrow field. I wrote about the faculty members and research centers I want to work with. Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): Excellent, current boss and two high ranking professors who know me personally Anxiously waiting news from the other schools!
  7. Are there reputable rankings for U.S. domestic or local policy programs?
  8. I don't actually know. I'm just guessing from the emails they sent about how stressed their admissions office was and how they requested that we do not call at all. I assume from those communications that they're a bit overwhelmed. No idea about the historical admissions rates/numbers.
  9. Oh well. I think mid-March makes sense -- seeing as how flooded they were with applications.
  10. Has anyone called Admissions to ask when scholarship news will be released? I'm thinking about calling them. I haven't received anything in the mail yet. I am on the East Coast. Maybe that's why.
  11. My MSPPM application was noted as finally complete a few days ago. I completed the video interview last night... I really wish I had spent more time preparing for it. The questions move very quickly! I hope it doesn't matter too much for admissions. I can't imagine it does.
