  1. Thanks to you both! I emailed them yesterday and was sent the breakdown of my score this morning. Sadly the scores given by each committee member differed a lot (not enough to exceed a discrepancy of 2.5 points) so at least I know now. Also, I was in committee 3D. Good luck to everyone who's thinking of reapplying in the fall!!
  2. Thanks for this information @Splendid Isolation. Also, and I feel a bit embarrassed asking this, where do we find out which subcommittee our application was placed in? I know it was assessed by committee 3 but I've been looking for ages to find out which subcommittee... thanks in advance!
  3. (completely forgot to post in the thread) Offered at Concordia and accepted!!
  4. looks like we won't have to stay up all night to find out the results this year lol (La version française suit) The results of the 2019 CGS M Competition will be available to applicants in the Research Portal starting April 1, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. (ET). In the Research Portal, applicants must select “Open” under the “Action” column in order to see the status of their application at each of their proposed institutions. Applicants will have 21 days from the date of each offer of award to accept or decline the offer. The status of offers that are not accepted or declined within that period of time will be automatically and irreversibly set to Declined in the Research Portal, and the offer will be considered cancelled. Should some of their offers be declined, institutions may make subsequent offers to applicants listed as alternates until they have no awards remaining. These subsequent offers may be made until January 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). It is the responsibility of the applicant to regularly verify the Research Portal as of April 1 for results of the competition. Sincerely, CIHR - CGSMA-BESCBM@cihr-irsc.gc.ca NSERC - schol@nserc-crsng.gc.ca SSHRC- fellowships@sshrc-crsh.gc.ca The programs divisions of CIHR, NSERC and SSHRC
  5. Hey everyone, So results for SSHRC MA are going to be released in about 2 weeks and I noticed a thread hadn't yet been created. Let the countdown begin!!!
  6. seem the results were posted this morning! Nice to get a glimpse at the range of projects being funded for this past year. http://www.sshrc-crsh.gc.ca/results-resultats/recipients-recipiendaires/index-eng.aspx
  7. @Adelaide9216 I think @high_hopes meant when will SSHRC publish the results from last year's competition, since this thread was for funding for the 2018-2019 year (though I might be wrong). It's weird that they still have yet to post the list of winners publicly, especially since the results from 2016 were up even before the application deadlines for both doctoral and master's cgs in 2017.
  8. Anyone else applying to the FRQSC Master's (B1)? From what I saw for last year's competition, the structure have changed for this year (one page instead of two, no reference letters) but all the information required in the application is the same.. I'm sure I'm not alone is trying to get everything to fit in a single page.
  9. Has anyone who was given alternate status for Concordia heard anything back or seen any movement? I've been hesitant to contact the graduate funding office to see if all offers have been accepted but still curious to see if any alternates have had their status changed to 'offered' since the 1st.
  10. Congrats!!! That's so exciting! I'm in the same position you were last year (I was reading through the 2017-2018 thread): incoming MA student at Concordia and listed as an alternate. I don't think I want to know what I was ranked but I do hope there will be some movement.
